How to create Nexcess Cloud accounts

How to create a Nexcess Cloud account from your Client Portal.

What you need

Method

To access the cloud account creation page, log in to your Client Portal. Then, click Create > Plans, and follow the six steps provided below.

Step 1: Domain Name

If you have not yet registered your domain name, do so now. Otherwise, enter your domain name, then click NEXT.

Step 2: Application

  1. Using the eCommerce, ContentManagement, CRM, and Flexible tabs, locate your desired application.

    ATTENTION: This does not install the application itself. It installs the optimum hardware and software configuration for that application. The Flexible option is best for those with no preference.

  2. Click your desired application environment.

  3. Some applications include an auto-install option. If you want us to install your application but auto-install is unavailable, please contact our 24/7 support team.

  4. Click NEXT when ready.

Step 3: Service Level

Click your preferred plan, then click NEXT. If you are unsure which best suits your needs, please contact our sales team, available Monday–Friday, from 9 a.m.–5 p.m., eastern time (ET).

Step 4: Location

Choose your preferred location, then click NEXT.

Step 5: Billing

Enter your credit card information, then click NEXT. On the Summary page, review your selections. If you find an error, click back. Otherwise, click CREATE ACCOUNT.

Step 6: Summary

On the Summary page, review your selections. If you find an error, click back. Otherwise, click CREATE ACCOUNT.

Congratulations!

Setup is complete. In most cases, your cloud account will be ready in 15 minutes or less. When ready, you will receive a notification and your first invoice at the email address you provided.

To access your cloud account dashboard, either click its domain name, or select Account Dashboard from the menu toggle.

You may view your website immediately upon cloud activation by clicking the secondary domain name.
