Nexcess: New Temporary Domain on All Plans

As of 10 PM Eastern Time (ET) on August 23, 2022: Temporary Domains Issued on All Nexcess Plans are Changing from *.nxcli.net to *.nxcli.io

Starting on August 23, 2022 from 10 PM Eastern Time (ET) onward, any new website provisioned or created via the new site option on a Nexcess Plan will be given a CNAME Target domain and subdomain from *.nxcli.io. The previous domain and subdomain used was from *.nxcli.net.

Existing sites on the temporary domain will continue to use the *nxcli.net domain and subdomain and work as before. You would notice the new temporary domain if you create a new site on your Nexcess Plan after 10 PM Eastern Time (ET) on August 23, 2022 — or you create a new plan on your account.

The temporary domain was changed to speed up DNS propagation time for temporary domains (CNAME Target), which will help improve the time it takes for a new site to be accessible on the temporary domain, which is an enhancement.
