In this tutorial, we will review how Nexcess clients that are located on physical web servers (non-cloud) can subscribe to email receive notifications on bandwidth limits, disk usage limits, and SSL certificate expiration periods for these services.
Prerequisites
A Nexcess account on a physical server (non-cloud).
(The following information does not apply to Nexcess cloud accounts)Login credentials for your SiteWorx account.

Procedure
Step One
Log in to your SiteWorx account.
Step Two
In the main menu, click Preferences > Subscriptions.
Step Three
In the ‘Subscription Management’ screen, click the icon beneath the Action field to toggle the setting on or off for each Problem Detector. The image below shows us that all four detectors have been enabled, and an email will be sent when the noted conditions are met.

Notification
Notification emails are sent to the default email address for each Siteworx account that has the subscriptions enabled. These notifications will be sent from the support@nexcess.net email address when:
The disk usage threshold exceeds 80%
The bandwidth threshold exceeds 95%
Process
A cron job will run once every hour to determine if the thresholds limits have been reached. If a threshold limit occurs, a separate cronjob (that also runs once a day) will send an email notification. After a sustained threshold state is reached, an email will be sent once per day depending on the cronjob settings. The notification may be sent hours after the actual threshold breach due to the specific cronjob settings.
