Dearborn, MI: NEXCESS.NET, a leading provider of high quality web hosting solutions, opened their new privately owned data center located in Dearborn, MI on January 1st 2007. The new facility allows Nexcess.net to house all of their hosting operations in one single location, giving them greater ability to respond to the needs of their customers.
The approximately 3,200 square foot facility incorporates 2,500 square feet of climate-controlled data center space. The data center has the capacity to house thousands of servers and is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide clients with the lowest possible response times. NEXCESS.NET uses Liebert power distribution, UPS and HVAC units to ensure their servers operate under optimal conditions. Backup power is provided by a 300KW Cummins diesel generator with over 24 hours of fuel on site. The facility uses an electronic entry system and is also monitored 24/7 for fire and security.
