How to change the password for MySQL database users in Nexcess Cloud

What you need

• Your Client Portal login credentials. If you cannot locate them, click Forgot Password? on the login page.

• An existing Nexcess Cloud account. See How to create Nexcess Cloud accounts for more information.

Method

1. Log in to the Client Portal. From the home page, click Services > Plans.
   

2. Either click its domain name, or select Plan Dashboard from the menu toggle.
   

3. Click Menu > MYSQL.
   

4. In the Users section, locate your desired user. From the menu toggle, select Regenerate Password.
   

5. Click Confirm when prompted. From the same menu toggle, select View Password.
   
   
6. Read the warning, then click View Password.
   
   
7. Click the password to copy it to your pasteboard. Secure this password in a safe place and share it with caution.
